It’s a beautiful, happy and delightful day for all of us at SkillNG and the entire young population, it’s the World Youth Skills Day! Are you feeling excited?

- What is World Youth Skills Day?
In 2014, the United Nations General Assembly declared July 15 as World Youth Skills Day to celebrate the strategic importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, decent work and entrepreneurship. Since then, World Youth Skills Day has been celebrated annually all over the world as the day to focus on young people’s skill development and education and the role of training institutions, firms, employers’ and workers’ organizations, policymakers and development partners.

- What do we need from you?
A) Register for any of the skills listed in the flier. IT IS FREE! Some classes are vitural only while some are blended and will be taking place at the Farm Konnect Institute for Data and AgriBusiness (FIDAS Africa) in Ibadan. Review carefully before you apply and only apply if you are sure you will be joining.

- Mode of classes
All classes are highly practical, tutor-led and carried out onsite and online via Zoom and Google Classroom. Beneficiaries will be given regular assignments and capstone projects to achieve the necessary immersion in the program. After the digital skills training, beneficiaries also go through compulsory soft skills and basic professional etiquette skills training to ensure their complete fitness in the workplace.
